Applications for ISRA Membership

Membership dues apply to two calendar years (January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2024)

To apply for ISRA membership, please fill out the application form below, click 'submit' and then email a CV to Dr. Brad Bushman, ISRA Executive Secretary.

All applications require the endorsement of a current ISRA Fellow. The Executive Secretary will review these applications to confirm this endorsement. ISRA also welcomes applications from those who cannot obtain such an endorsement. For those individuals, applications will be reviewed by the Executive Secretary, ISRA President, and one Council Member. In the application form, please indicate the name and email address of the ISRA Fellow who has agreed to endorse your application or indicate “No Endorsement.”

ISRA will provide a free one-year membership to any applicant who meets any of the following criteria:

  • You are an undergraduate or graduate student

  • You are an early career investigator, which is defined as being within 3 years of your terminal graduate degree (or longer periods by application to the Executive Secretary)

  • You live in a lower- or middle-income country as defined by the most recent World Bank fiscal year

The Executive Secretary will determine whether the new member is required to pay dues or receive a free membership for that membership term.

Individual Membership:
For scientists working in any of the biological, psychological, or social sciences on problems of aggression, or scientific or professional persons who wish to support the goals of the Society but who are not actively engaged in research on aggression.

Student Membership:
For undergraduate and graduate students working in any of the biological, psychological, or social sciences on problems of aggression.

 
 

Individuals who are approved for membership will receive an email from the ISRA Executive Secretary that includes information on how to access the membership dues payment portal if applicable as well as the member-only area of the ISRA website.
